Request for subtitiling the video-teaching "Finding Our True Home | First Talk by Thich Nhat Hanh, 2013.10.12"

I know you are there, and that makes me happy. The reason why I am writing is to ask the chance to subtitle in Spanish the video teaching of Thay called " Finding Our True Home | First Talk by Thich Nhat Hanh, 2013.10.12", because I could not find it on Amara.org.

Is that possible?

My sincere apologies for making you wait for a few days before replying to you. I actually shared your request and this video’s issue of not having a link to Amara with other team members a couple of days ago, who’ve been looking into it the past few days, but I’ve got no response yet. I will share our updates as soon as I’ve got any news for sure.

I am sorry I missed this earlier. That YouTube link has a format which is not familiar to me and perhaps YouTube changed something.

But I think you can add the link using the standard format like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqXoAvZFcFo

Hope this helps. If that does not work I can look into it further.

I did try to find the standard version of the URL as I did notice the link obtained through YouTube’s “share”’ button has the “live” in it but I couldn’t find the one without “live”.

From what you shared, now I know how to turn the “live” link to standard by adding “watch?v=” now :grin:

Thank you very much for all your help, kindness and love. I can now see already the video on Amara.org . I promise that when I get the video ready with subtitles in spanish, I will share it with my sangha and the Thich Nhat Hanh’s spanish speakers community on Facebook.
